Skill education, also known as vocational or technical education, focuses on imparting practical skills, knowledge, and competencies that are directly applicable to specific jobs, industries, or trades. It aims to prepare individuals for the workforce by equipping them with the skills needed to perform specific tasks and functions. Skill education is often more hands-on and practical than traditional academic education, emphasizing real-world application and problem-solving. Radhaji Charitable Trust is engaged in various activities of imparting skills where youth of Mohali district of Punjab can train themselves through various job oriented courses.
Youth from poor strata of society are selected for courses after organizing various awareness camps The trust runs specially courses of data entry operator, Graphic designing through Coral draw and Photoshop. It also runs courses on Microsoft office and Tally which are duly certified by respective companies. These all courses are in great demand in both public and private sector and job placement is ensured. The trust ensures placements through various placement camps. One was recently organised The focus of the trust is on real time practical training and not theoretical training. This results in that vocational education imparted by us does what college and school education cannot achieve in ten years. The trust also runs a tailoring course for women candidate which empower urban and rural poor women to live a life of diginity. The trust spends quite a lot from its own resources to provide top class amenities to students including computers , internet , sewing machines , softwares, Classrooms etc of highest quality free of cost. We train more than 150 students every year. Now we want to increase our area of operation and wish to train 500 students in different vocational courses. We need your help to achieve our objective.
